Dog Training Classes

Puppy Basic

6 week course: **$200 ($50 NON-REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT REQUIRED)**
Puppies can start at 8 weeks and must be up to date on rabies (by 16 weeks of age), distemper and kennel cough vaccines.
Basic manners covered: Sit, Down, Recall (i.e. come), Leave It, Drop It, Heel and Place.
Last class we cover any practice with the basics and add in trick training! Not all training is basic obedience.
Class includes a free private consult for behavior problems that might pop up within 2 years after graduation.

CLASSES ARE RUN sUNDAYS 9:45A, 12:15P OR 1:30P OR tHURSDAYS 6:00P.

Adult Basic

Intermediate

5 week course: **$167 ($50 NON-REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT REQUIRED)**
Max of 10 dogs per class
Must have graduated puppy class, adult class or have had a prior evaluation before the class.
More advance behaviors are covered: Heeling up to another dog, greeting by a stranger, sit/down/heel/recall with distractions.
This class is highly recommended for people interested in going on to AKC CGC or Therapy dog training.

Private Training

BEHAVIOR PROBLEM CONSULTS START AT $165/HOUR AND INCLUDE A DETAILED WRITE-UP ON THE INFORMATION/TRAINING GONE OVER DURING THE CONSULT FOR SESSION BY SESSION. PACKAGE DEALS HAVE BASIC OBEDIENCE/INTERMEDIATE OBEDIENCE HANDOUTS AND WE FOCUS ON THE MOST IMPORTANT BEHAVIORS EACH SESSION.

lessons with jacqui are very limited and are for severe problem behaviors or service dog training only (prescription for service dog training requireD, no pups over 2 years will be considered).

private lessons for basic obedience and mild/moderate behavior problems are being done by staff trainers: abby and tyler.

AKC Canine Good Citizen Certification

$50 for the test. Most classes include the test for half price (ask about scheduling).
Scheduled based on interest for the class.
Prior classes are recommended but not required.
